Korean DMV Prep is a bilingual study app for US driver's written tests. No account is required to use the app.
1. Introduction
Gomsoon Labs LLC ("we," "us," or "our") publishes Korean DMV Prep, a mobile study app for US driver's written tests. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information.
We do not require an account and we do not intentionally collect personal information through the app.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
The app does not:
- Require registration, login, or an account
- Collect your name, email address, phone number, or payment information through in-app forms (App Store purchases are handled by Apple)
- Upload your study progress to our servers (we operate no user backend)
- Sell personal information
- Display ads
- Use third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs (as of the effective date above)
3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

This data remains on your device until you delete the app or clear app data. We cannot access it remotely.
4. Firebase and Public Content Downloads
When you are online, the app connects to Google Firebase to download public app content, including a remote configuration manifest, question bank JSON files, and sign bank data where applicable. These files contain study content only — not personal information about you.
The app reads this content; it does not write user data to Firebase.
Google may process technical information (such as IP address, device type, and request metadata) as part of delivering Firebase services. See Google's Privacy Policy.
5. External Links
The app may open external links (for example, a support email link or official state driver-licensing websites) only when you choose to tap them. We do not control third-party websites.
6. Children's Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Data Retention
Local study data persists on your device until you uninstall the app or clear its storage. We retain no copy on our servers.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will be revised when we do.
